About
My name is Lira João. I have accumulated in the hospitality sector, management, and digital transformation.
After completing the first year and the Practical Arts Semester at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education (ranked 2nd worldwide in the QS 2025 ranking for Hospitality and Leisure), I undertook full rotations in F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Guest Experience, and Back Office, which provided me with a 360° view of hotel operations. I then completed a Master’s in Hotel and Hospitality Management at Ostelea and am currently in the third year of the online Bachelor’s in Hotel Management at Schellhammer Business School, where I have achieved distinction in every project.
Key achievements include:
Digital product conception and launch – At LiraLink Tecnologia I defined the functional scope and oversaw the development of two mobile applications:
· A platform for catering and personalised gifts that streamlines ordering and customisation workflows;
· An app for spas and beauty salons that integrates the entire client–staff journey, boosting retention and operational efficiency.
I also coordinated the go-to-market strategy, reduced rework between technical teams and cloud partners by 30 %, and ensured deadlines and budgets were met.
Business restructuring and growth – As Operations Coordinator at Doces Sonhos I redesigned the strategic and marketing plan, doubled the size of the team, and introduced corporate dynamics that raised revenue by more than 40 % in the first year. I also implemented artificial-intelligence tools for meeting minutes and task management, enhancing internal productivity.
Specialisation in AI applied to HR – I completed the course “Artificial Intelligence in HR” at Vantagem+, covering applications in talent acquisition, training, and employee engagement.
